Mince Biryani Recipe



Ingredients

    Mince ½ kg
    Rice ½ kg
    Whole spices mixed 1 tsp
    Oil ½ cup
    Brown onion 1 cup
    Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp heaped
    Oil spice 1 tsp
    Salt 1 ½ tsp
    Chili powder 3 tsp
    Tomatoes 2 chopped
    Yogurt ½ cup
    Coriander leaves chopped ½ cup
    Mint leaves chopped 15 to 20
    Green chilies 4 to 6 whole
    Boiled eggs 2 for garnish
    Potatoes 2 cubed
    Peas 1 cup
    Turmeric ½ tsp

Method

    Soak rice for 30 minutes, boil rice with 2 tbsp salt, mixed whole spices till ¾ done, drain water, keep aside, heat oil add ginger garlic paste, mince with salt, chili powder, chopped tomatoes, fry well, cover and leave it for 15 to 20 minutes, add yogurt with cubes of potatoes, peas 1 cup, cover and cook till potatoes tender, lastly add chopped hara masala, allspice powder, put boiled rice on top of the cooked mince with brown onion 2 tsp, Kewra and saffron mixture, put it on dum, serve garnished with egg slices.
